Hidden Lake Lodge has experienced some drastic weather early in 2009.  Though beautiful, this huge ice storm knocked out power across Western Kentucky.  With her generator, gas utilities, and fireplace, however, Hidden Lake Lodge served as a haven for folks who would have otherwise been out of a warm place to eat, sleep, and shower.
